Cross-country skiing in a snow-covered winter landscape
Plan de Corones is actually mainly known for its endless, perfectly groomed slopes. But it has much more to offer than just skiing. It’s also ideal for those who prefer to move on narrower skis. Perfectly groomed trails meander along the foot of the local Brunico mountain through the white winter landscape; ideal for beginners and professionals, skaters and classic cross-country skiers.
The trails closest to our hotel are located in Riscone, San Lorenzo di Sebato and Santo Stefano. A few minutes drive away, but particularly rewarding, are those in the valleys of Casies and Anterselva. The latter has made a name for itself as a venue for high profile biathlon competitions. But it is also particularly good for recreational cross-country skiers owing to the unique circuit on the frozen Lake Anterselva.
